Admissions and Enrollment
Cameron Park Montessori welcomes all children regardless of race, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or any factor that is a prohibited consideration under applicable law.
Cameron Park Montessori School serves children as young as 18 months old. Our license requires all admissions paperwork to be completed before the first day of attendance. Our staff will review your child's individual needs before starting care in our program.
Children must be toilet trained for admission into our preschool classrooms. Children as young as 2.5 may join the preschool class if determined to be a good fit after a classroom visit. Children must be fully vaccinated for admission to school, as per California SB 277, unless the child possesses a valid medical exemption from their physician. All children are accepted for a six-week probation period from the day of enrollment. However, the school reserves the right to dismiss or expel any student at the school’s discretion when it is determined that the school cannot meet the needs of the child.
Kindergarteners will only be enrolled after attending Cameron Park Montessori School for the preschool years or with verified Montessori experience from another Montessori preschool.
Potential parents are required to observe the working classroom before enrolling their child at Cameron Park Montessori School. This observation must be completed before admission as we feel very strongly about cooperation and like-mindedness between the home and the school. We want parents to know what goes on in the classroom, how we interact with the children, and to have an opportunity to ask questions about what they have seen. In this way, parents and our school can determine if our goals for your child are in harmony.
Once an observation has been completed, interested parents may complete an enrollment application for their child’s placement in the school. The next steps
prior to a child’s entrance is completion of a tuition agreement and contract, and payment of all necessary enrollment fees.
